Psoriasis Psoriasis is an inflammation of the skin, nails and even joints. Psoriasis is thought to be genetic. In psoriasis, the body's inflammatory cells leave the blood vessels, and enter the skin. This group of cells cause the skin to become flaky, red, itchy or tender. Recently, a number of breakthrough medications have been developed and available to patients. Dr. Memar, being an immunologist-dermatologist, is uniquely trained to treat skin inflammatory conditions. |
