Medical Assistant with experience:
Our Dermatology and Mohs surgery practice located in the loop, is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant. Preferred candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in dermatology or other related fields. Experience in EMR, customer service, setting up surgical trays, sterilization of equipment and assisting in surgical procedures is a plus. This position will require some front desk work as well. This is a very team oriented environment. We are seeking an energetic, motivated, quick learner to join our established and growing practice. This is a part time or full time position. Saturdays required. The interview process will include a working interview. References will be required. Serious inquiries only.
Responsibilities include:
• Rooming patients
• Educating patients on treatment plans and medication
• Assisting with biopsies and select surgical procedures as well as completion of pathology and lab requisition documents
• Suture removal, dressing changes, and patch testing
• Phototherapy
• Stocking exam rooms, assuring room cleanliness between patients, and sterilization of medical instruments
